Today, three students from Bondurant Middle had the wonderful opportunity to shadow some of our Central Office employees. This experience was eagerly anticipated by our special education and technology departments.
A huge thank you to Lily Brewer, Vishal Paluri, and Henry Thomas for joining us. Vishal and Henry shadowed our Director of Technology, Stella Pollard, and LAN admin, Nathan Simpson. They contributed to district-wide VoIP Phone prep, a project that will benefit our district for many years to come, and learned basic networking skills.
Lily assisted Ms. April Johnson with data processing.
It was a fantastic day!

Franklin County Schools '❤️ Our People
For the eighth time in the past nine years, and the second year in a row, FCS employees will be receiving a 4% pay increase. Our Superintendent and Board members have worked tirelessly to elevate Franklin County Schools from 90th to 26th in the state for teacher pay. This 4% pay increase for all employees is in addition to the approximate 1% step increase, supplementing the 4% raise from 2024 and the 2% raises provided in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, & 2023.
A special thank you to our board for their unwavering support and dedication.

Dear Franklin County Families,
We want to make you aware of a concerning social media trend that encourages students to intentionally damage their school-issued Chromebooks by attempting to short out the charging ports. In some cases across the country this trend has led to injury and even caused electrical and fire damage to homes.
Please take a moment to speak with your child about the serious dangers of participating in these types of online trends. Their safety—and the safety of our students, staff, and families—is our number one priority.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our school community safe.
