🚧Caution: Mathematicians at Work!🚧 Mrs. Burus's class explored the distributive property in a hands-on way! Students built arrays with playdoh, then “broke apart” their arrays by cutting them into smaller sections. They wrote multiplication equations to match each part, which helped them see how larger facts can be split into easier facts. It was a fun and visual way to make a tricky concept click! #FCScourage #bpeTigers #MathRocks

❤️💙🖤💚Happy Ambush Day! ❤️💙🖤💚 We had so much fun mingling with our dens this morning! We played games to strengthen community and sorted some new friends into dens! Since our first Ambush Day, our students have earned over 6,000 gold coins by doing amazing things! 🤯 We recognized two students for outstanding accomplishments outside of school and they earned coins for their den! Way to go, Maggie B. And Vincent D. 🏆Team Isibindi came in 1st Place and their flag will fly high once again!🏆 #FCScourage #TeamIsibindi #4Dens1Ambush #bpeTigers

💡Shining Bright in Fourth Grade💡 We have some fabulous writers in fourth grade. Hanging in the halls of Bridgeport are some wonderful pieces that students have written. They each chose one word and explained why it describes them. So many great ideas and thoughts shared on paper! Keep up the great work, tigers! ❤️ #FCScourage #bpeTigers #Authors

🖤❤️💚💙Today was our first Ambush Day! 🖤❤️💚💙 We started the morning recognizing one student from each homeroom that has been a shining star for Kindness and then explores our dens throughout the day learning and growing along the way. ☀️We took lunch outside and sat with our dens and got to chat with so many new friends! 🤩Bridgeport parents even surprised the staff with Thai Smile for lunch!🤩 In the afternoon, we gathered again for some friendly competition. 🐍🦚🦁🐺 The coin collection was STRONG this week and ISIBINDI took the win! Their flag will fly high for the next two weeks! 💚🤟🏼🦁💚 #4dens1ambush #FCScourage #bpeTigers #IsbinidiFlagFlies #IYKYK
